Who doesn't love a good jean skirt? WE sure do so it was about time we added one to our lineup. Our hope is that it can become a good foundation for many Sofiona outfits. (Did you catch what I did there? "foundation"....."bedrock" skirt.......if no one else I at least entertain myself.) Photo: Trish The… Continue reading Bedrock Skirt
We don't often have (take) the time to work on extra projects. The time it takes just to work on the ideas in our heads is non-existent so we rarely feel like shifting focus. But as we are coming close to 10,000 members in our Sofiona Sewing Group on Facebook, we did feel like doing… Continue reading Such a Cute Cloudberry Collection
I said no every time someone asked me if the Tamarack tights would be moved into the junior miss size chart. And I meant it, actually. I didn't think I could do it, to be honest, and yet here we are and I feel like our first foray into junior miss tights is making me feel more confident. The Dandelion recently had new life breathed into it with the Aspen Romper add-on and I realized that this was one pattern I wanted to extend into the next size range.
While I was preparing to put the Sturgeon Swimsuit into testing a couple months ago Sherri shared some cool inspiration pictures with me that she'd found online and really liked. I immediately asked (begged?) her to run with the ideas and turn them into a swim cover-up. At the same time she was neck-deep in… Continue reading Picking Raspberry
The Aspen Add on is a romper or pantsuit pdf pattern that is compatible with the Tide and Dandelion bodices in the Sofiona Designs store. This is more about what the testers found during testing.
